Maria and Stephen are Married!

I had so much fun photographing Maria and Stephen’s wedding. All of her details were so thought out and beautiful… right down to her crystal brooch bouquet made by her own hands! We started out the day at Prestonwood Baptist Church for a beautiful service and then headed to Old Red Courthouse for a wonderful reception. Thanks so much to Maria and Stephen for including me as part of their wedding! Congratulations to you both!

Cathy and Brett Boomer Sooner e-Session

I took a wonderful time up to Norman Oklahoma with Cathy, Brett and Cathy’s mom, Debbie shooting their Engagement Session last weekend. We had the chance to walk through the OU Campus, visit their Greek Houses, and see the places they spent time together, including one of the top football cathedrals of our time, Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium. I can see why theirs, as well as all of my OU couples’ school spirit runs so deep! Can’t wait for the wedding guys!

Jessica and Pedro’s Scotland Session

Okay, so obviously not the Scotland on the other side of the Atlantic, but just as dramatic! Our West Texas session was a blast! Luckily no Texas rattlers… but plenty of other things that either sting, cut or bite in the Texas landscape. It was fun to get to go out and meet Jessica’s parent’s and photograph on their beautiful farm. It was fun to see Jessica and Pedro out in the country and see them in an environment so far removed from the city. I have been blessed to know Jessica in the Dallas Wedding Market and work with her at the Magnolia Hotel. Needless to say I was honored when she asked me to be her photographer for their upcoming wedding. Here are some of my favorite images from their engagement session to share with you! Enjoy!

Fine Art Bridal Image

One of my favorite images “Chasing Butterflies” inspired me to adapt the image for one of my favorite and creative brides. I wanted to share the image because I want to express the way boundaries of the expected can be crossed when thinking about your bridal session. I hope this is an inspiration to you!

Kelley and Matt’s Fort Worth Wedding

This month I had the honor of capturing Kelley Crowder (of Elle Films) and Matt Gill’s wedding in Fort Worth at the Water Gardens (Ceremony) and the T&P Train Station (Reception). It is always an honor to be asked to shoot a friend and fellow member of the wedding industry’s wedding. The day was made even more complete when I had the opportunity to have The Edmonsons come along and shoot with me. The decorations and day were made beautiful by our friend Kelly Simants of Sweet Pea Events. I am so happy for Matt and Kelley and am honored to be with them on their day and capture every moment of it!
